A recent article on ArticleSubmission.news examined how many of Google’s own offerings do not meet the Google standard for mobile friendliness.
One tool that was not used in this post is the Mobile Friendly Test tool in Google Search Console. The reason we didn’t use this tool even though we knew we could share the results (here’s what they look like) is because the tool isn’t very useful compared to the results Google provides with the Page Speed Insights tool and a detailed look at GoogleChrome.github.io.
Google is such a big company that nothing works cohesively. The mobile-friendly test in Google Search Console is just a green light compared to these other useful tools from Google. It’s strange, but it’s difficult for large companies to maintain continuity between products.
