Bentley has just released what it says is the most dynamic film in its history, and it’s exactly the kind of unexpected energy you want to see from a brand known for sophisticated grand touring models. Titled “Supersports: FULL SEND,” the new video sees Travis Pastrana transform the Bentley campus in Crewe, England, into his own playground, threading a new Supersports around the factory floor with the kind of precision drifts usually associated with custom-built Gymkhana machines.

The star of the show is Bentley’s new Supersports, which combines rear-wheel drive with 666 hp as standard. This combination is the key point here, as it allows the car to survive and stay there at large slip angles. Donuts, long slides and controlled chaos are on the agenda, and the film assumes this is a very different kind of Bentley performance than we’re used to seeing in glossy launch videos.

To make filming possible, Bentley admitted that the special car used for filming underwent some key upgrades. The biggest change was the addition of a hydraulic handbrake, mounted next to the steering wheel, which was designed to instantly lock the rear axle so Pastrana could turn the car on command. Bentley’s chassis and transmission teams have integrated it into the control systems so that power is immediately available again when the handbrake is released, making it easier to move the car sideways before a corner and maintain a sustained drift through the corner.

Software work has also been done to enable “power braking”, which allows the brake and accelerator to be applied simultaneously. This might sound like a small detail, but it’s a big deal in terms of drifting, because it gives the driver another tool to refine the car’s posture while sliding and makes burnouts, both static and rolling, part of the choreography. And yes, the handbrake handle is labeled “Mildred,” a nod to the internal project name and a nod to Bentley’s history of fearless characters pushing boundaries.

According to Bentley, the film was shot over three days last September, with a dedicated team preparing the car on site at the Engineering Technical Center and numerous employees volunteering to help make it happen. The vibe is less “corporate advertising” and more “let’s see what happens when we let a legend loose in our backyard,” and that’s exactly why it works. Pastrana even notes that it was a rare experience for him to film something of this magnitude in a production car, without the usual drift-specific changes like a clutch change or wild steering angle modifications.

If you love discovering Easter eggs, FULL SEND is full of them. Bentley peppers the film with cameos from its past and present, including the Continental GT3 race cars, the Le Mans-winning Speed 8 and a range of Heritage Collection machines ranging from pre-war icons to modern rarities. There’s also a sneak peek at Bentley’s upcoming luxury city SUV, shown in camouflage as Pastrana speeds through the facility, as well as a few instantaneous moments that turn the entire campus into a rolling museum.

The film premiered in Dubai to an audience of 400 invited customers and guests, which seems pretty on-brand for a tire-smoke Bentley launch. And if you’re wondering whether you can actually buy this new Supersport, the answer is basically “good luck,” because Bentley says it’s already sold out and 500 examples have been reserved. Production is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026, with first deliveries expected in early 2027 and availability planned in key markets including the US, Canada, Europe, the UK and several regions in the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
