Kurt Russell And Goldie Hawn are big fans of Kevin Costner And they want to set him up with one of their wealthy high society friends in Aspen, Colorado, a mutual pal tells us exclusively Closer.
“Kurt and Goldie have been loyal friends of Kevin’s for more than twenty years. It wasn’t always like this: in the ’90s, Kevin and Kurt were fierce competitors, but at some point, at the end of that decade, Kurt and Kevin got on the same page, started talking about working together, and the friendship continues to this day,” the source explains.
“Kurt and Goldie are absolute Kevin loyalists and they respect each other, even though Kurt and Kevin continue to fight over roles here and there,” says the insider, pointing out that Kevin was originally cast in the 2012 film Django Unchained as Ace Woody, but Kurt took over the role as the Water world Star dropped out due to scheduling conflicts. The Deep water horizon Star later left the project and the role was eventually taken over by Walton Goggins.
“Nothing would make Kurt and Goldie happier than setting Kevin up with one of their Aspen friends, but the problem is that Kevin is a huge workaholic and perfectionist who kind of hates socializing and partying just for the sake of fun,” the source shares of the Yellowstone alum.
“Kurt and Goldie are like everyone else in Kevin’s life – they want him to find love, and if they can help in that regard, they will try!” the insider adds.
Kurt (74) and Goldie (79) are not only long-time friends of Kevin (70), but also neighbors in Aspen.

Kevin has owned the massive Dunbar Ranch outside of downtown Aspen since 2000. The 160 acre property consists of three separate homes and The bodyguard Star married ex-wife Christine Baumgartner orn the property in 2004. The duo lived there temporarily with their children Cayden (18), Hayes (16) and Grace (15).

“It’s just beautiful, with three lakes and a river running through them,” Kevin exclusively shared Closer in November 2020 about his Aspen Ranch. “My whole family spends some of our best times there.”
Christine, 51, and Kevin separated in May 2023 when she filed for divorce. It was completed in February 2024.
