Porsche doesn’t need an overwhelming victory to celebrate. In 2025, Porsche Cars North America surpassed its previous annual sales record with 76,219 deliveries, just 52 units more than in 2024 (76,167). It’s the kind of photo finish that sounds almost too neat, but also says a lot about how stable Porsche’s demand has remained as the market around them continues to change.

The big driver was exactly what you’d expect if you’d spent five minutes in a dealership parking lot lately: SUVs. The Macan led the way with 27,139 sales, closely followed by the Cayenne with 20,314 sales. The 911 still did what the 911 always does: it anchored the brand’s performance glory with 13,574 sold, and December was the best sales month for the model on record, a nice reminder that sports car fans are still very much alive and well.

Behind these headlines were Porsche’s other brands, the 718 with 6,399, the Panamera with 4,651 and the Taycan with 4,142. Porsche leadership attributed the result to buyers sticking with the brand in a year of “profound change,” and it’s hard to argue with that when the mix shows buyers continue to divide their attention between everyday practicality and the logo’s enthusiast staples.

What’s perhaps even more telling is what happened outside the new car lane. Porsche’s certified pre-owned business increased to 48,092 sales in 2025, an increase of 11% and a new record. With used car inventories rising nationwide and scarcity increasing, this increase makes perfect sense: more choice, more availability, and a CPO safety net that’s particularly attractive if you want the Porsche experience without the price of a new car.
